About Just Worktime

Hi! My name is Bianca, I'm 12 years old, and I created Just Worktime because keeping track of my chores was becoming a chore all by itself. My mom and dad pay me an hourly rate for doing my homework, plus a fixed price for specific tasks like collecting and taking out the trash or cleaning the bathrooms. I also get bonuses for getting good grades in school.

My first chore tracking system was a piece of paper. Very fancy, I know. I would write down my homework hours and completed chores, then hand the paper to Mom or Dad. Sometimes the paper got lost. Sometimes they forgot to pay me. Even when they did pay me, I had no proof of it. I tried using a spreadsheet, but it felt too complicated and was difficult to use on a phone or tablet.

I looked for a free online website that could track my work hours and tasks. But there was one more twist: I live half the year in one country and half the year in another. The two countries have different time zones and currencies, which made tracking everything even more confusing. The free online platforms that I found were either too complicated or too simplistic. I couldn't find one that worked for me.

My dad is a software architect, so he suggested that I use ChatGPT Codex or Claude to build my own website that worked the way I wanted and looked the way I wanted.

Unfortunately, neither ChatGPT nor Claude met my expectations. ChatGPT came the closest, and then my dad fixed the mistakes, security flaws, and the AI code bloat. Just Worktime still isn't exactly the website I imagined, but after Dad's fixes, it's close enough for me, and most importantly, it works!

My dad thought we should share what we made with everyone. So, we registered a parent company called Opmatrix in Texas. Then, we registered the justworktime.com domain name and got the website certificates. Now, anyone can access Just Worktime and sign up for a free account. I hope you find it useful!

I'm not finished dreaming yet. In the future, I want to create iOS and Android apps that let me enter my time and tasks with voice commands. I also want to add a timer so I can track my time and bill it in the same app.
